Bob Sokoloski Memorial Contest
Pictured above, from left, is Tim Sokoloski presenting Corey Bentley
with his winnings in
the contest which was open to all drivers in the first round who put
together the best package.
This is a contest I do every year in memory of my father. Corey put up a
.012 package. It
consisted of a .004 reaction time and ran .008 off his 11.16 dial. Corey
also shared the prize in
last years contest with Tyler Dossett. The only stipulation upon
receiving is that he takes
his father to lunch, so hopefully he took Hal to someplace other than
McDonalds.
An anonymous racer also put up a $50 bill to the driver who put up the
best package in the
No-Box class, and that winner was Jason Hultgrien who put together a
.056 package which
consisted of a .031 reaction time and ran .021 off his 12.91 dial.
