2010 Tentative Schedule

Guys,

Here is the Tentative 2010 Schedule. As you will see we have a busy season planned. We added some more points meets although the weather might take some of the early and late ones out. We have added 3 Saturday Night Street races more information on these will be coming on those after the first of the year. They will be similar to the ones that Scribner used to hold on Friday nights.

The dates are firm the only things that might change would be the the events. We are looking at some other possible events to hold at the track. The dates for the ET finals are correct we checked with Matt at NHRA, as is the date for the National Open that will not change.

We will be posting more information on the website as the events are finalized, but we thought it was important to at least get the dates posted.

What are some of the rules on the saturday night street races?

We are still developing the rules for the Saturday night street races. Basically they will be a grudge race, time trial style event very similar to the Friday night street races that were held at the Nebraska Motor Plex in Scribner before it closed down. There will be no organized racing, no trophies or money awarded. These Saturdays are going to be setup for the street car guys to come out and run there cars down the track and see what they can do. Regular race cars are welcome also but again just for testing only.

We are also working on some organized street car events that will be held on our normal race weekend on Saturday. These will be a series that will have a final event toward the end of the season. We will also be posting further information on these events as soon as we have them ready.

What will the entry fee be for the Saturday night street races?

What time will the track open?
When will the track go hot?
And when will the track shut down for the night?
